Human-led research support
Thesis Tutors is built around human research support. AI-enabled features may assist with routing, planning, administrative workflows, search, learning prompts or other clearly bounded functions.
AI is not presented as a human expert
Where an automated feature is used, it should not be represented as a human researcher, supervisor or subject expert.
Academic work remains the researcher’s responsibility
Researchers must follow their university’s rules on the use of generative AI and other automated tools in assessed work. Thesis Tutors does not author assessed work for submission on behalf of a student.
Human review and escalation
Complex research-method, statistics, ethics, academic-integrity or service decisions should be routed to appropriate human review rather than relying solely on an automated output.
Data and privacy
Users should avoid entering unnecessary confidential, personal or unpublished third-party information into automated tools. Personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
